Lynard Zingale just moved into One Seventeen at W. 117th and Lake. He is one of the first three residents to occupy the newest Brickhaus luxury townhome development. Lynard had been living on the far east side and wanted to come back west.
“This is the perfect location for me."
"I looked all over the place. Tremont was too congested; Battery Park starting prices were too high.” Now he is close to the city and to his office. When he started looking to downsize, a mortgage broker friend brought One Seventeen to his attention. “It immediately felt right to me,” he says. He liked the contemporary feel, the design, the spaciousness and the layout.
Lynard had built before and says the process of building with Brickhaus was seamless. The customization and selections processes were simple, and when he visited the vendors, “everything came together really nicely.” He selected many custom finishes, like the custom metal pattered backsplash in the kitchen. “Alessandro [Brickhaus Selections Coordinatior & Designer] was unbelievably patient - as picky and meticulous as I am. Not one time did I feel like I was bothering him.” He also lauds Jaron Schulz [Brickhaus Superintendent], who came up with creative ideas like lights set into the wall along the staircase. “The communication between all parties was there.” Most importantly, Lynard says,
“the finished product lives up to my expectations.”
Lynard grew up on the West Side of Cleveland and is a father of four. He enjoys traveling, dining out and shopping. Lately, Lynard has been enjoying the interior design process as he makes his new home exactly the way he wants it to be!
